They are on the move

I have two mobile kids - Logan is crawling and constantly trying to eat the computer cord. Yikes - at least I got back to work in a week otherwise I might just loose my mind chasing down two boys everyday

Meatloaf fun

Owen woke up from an extremely long nap and was eating his 'lunch' at 4:30 as I was making dinner. I was making a meatloaf and had my hands in the meatloaf mixing it when he started yelling at me "MOMMA DIRTY MOMMA DIRTY" Apparently I am not allowed to get my hands dirty.

As I was finishing up I was washing my hands and my back was to him when he started yelling " MOMMA RINGS MOMMA RINGS RINGS HAIR RINGS HAIR" Trying to figure out what a two year old is talking about is always fun. But in this case it is my own weirdness, when I cook and need to use my hands to mix I take my rings off and fasten them to my hairband and put it back in my hair. So he was seeing my rings on top of my pony tail. Not a bad tip if you often forget where to put them or are afraid to loose them

Wow did I fall of the face of the planet

Yikes! I can't believe how long it has been since I posted last.

This summer has been super fun and way too short. I can't even begin to describe the craziness of it all.

Getting really good at being a mommy of two.
Can't wait till next summer when i am no longer nursing or carrying around an infant but instead have two active boys to play with

All things work out with the power of prayer

Today is going to be a great day I know it will and I am determined to make it a great day

First our sitter is going to take both boys this morning because she secretly set up an appointment for them to have pictures taken at the preschool together - YEAH - it is my mothers day present - she even bought them clothes to wear for it :)

because she has the boys I can go to the hospital and visit my BFF and her new little baby, YEAH! he is tiny tiny but doing well - I am taking a bag full of preemie clothes to her today because he will be needing them for awhile.

I have a second interview today for my dream job in a new city that would be great for my family. The kids would get to spend so much more time with Mike - although I think less time with me but we wouldn't be getting up at the super early hour anymore

Then I am going to dinner and a musical! I was actually supposed to go with my BFF but she decided to have her baby early so I am going to go with the boys sitter - she is more than just a sitter to us bt for purposes of writing it is just easier. She really is a friend.

How does a nursing momma do all of this - well it gets a little complicated in the details but don't worry baby is only going to miss 3 nursing sessions and not in a row - I have plenty of milk stockpiled and my pump is ready to travel
